Coach Sise is a certified Moniteur d'Armes by the United States Fencing Coaches Association and is a certified referee in foil, epee, and saber. She is SafeSport certified and is a professional member of USA Fencing. Sise also coaches at Pioneer Valley Fencing Academy and for the Northampton High School fencing team. Coach Sise is a physics teacher and head of the science department at the Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School in Chicopee, MA.

Elly Hong, President and Epee Captain
Elly Hong is a senior English major from Pasadena, California, where she started fencing in 2013. Outside of fencing, she is an Editorial Assistant at The Common, Amherst College's literary magazine, and enjoys drawing and language learning. She is more than happy to answer any questions you have about fencing and the Amherst club!
